Bringing Pastoral Care Beyond the Pulpit
Preacher Without a Church is a
chaplaincy ministry dedicated to
supporting local churches,
leaders, and communities
through preaching, pastoral care,
and spiritual guidance. While we
honor the central role of the local
church, our ministry exists to
reach people and spaces where
congregations cannot always be
present, offering care, presence,
and connection to those who
might otherwise be overlooked
or isolated.
Our mission is simple: to strengthen and extend the ministry of local churches while providing compassionate pastoral support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. Whether it’s through guest preaching, pastoral care, or community outreach, our work is always designed to complement and support the local congregation.
We serve three main groups: local churches and pastors seeking support or guest preaching, individuals without a church home who are seeking guidance, and community spaces such as hospitals, hospice care, and first responder environments. In every context, our focus is on bringing compassionate presence, spiritual care, and guidance rooted in Scripture.
Our ministry is grounded in a pastoral, trauma-informed, and Scripture-based approach. We seek to meet people where they are, listening first, offering care thoughtfully, and walking alongside them in ways that are both respectful and empowering. We collaborate closely with churches to ensure that our services enhance, rather than compete with, the work of the congregation.
Preacher Without a Church began from a calling to serve beyond traditional church walls—ministering to those who are spiritually hungry but disconnected, and supporting pastors and congregations in extending their reach. Over time, this calling has grown into a ministry focused on collaboration, presence, and care, building bridges between individuals, communities, and the church.
“While the local church remains central to Christian life, Scripture also bears witness to itinerant ministers and pastoral presence beyond congregational walls (Acts 8; Acts 16; 2 Corinthians 3:1–3).”
We welcome opportunities to partner with churches, care for individuals, and engage with communities that need pastoral presence. Whether you are a church leader seeking support or someone looking for guidance and care, we are here to walk alongside you.
